Taylor Brubaker

With Tstreet since 2017

6th season coaching for Tstreet!

Tstreet holds a special place in Taylor’s heart as it is where she learned to play volleyball and spent her club volleyball career. After numerous podium appearances at Tstreet over the years and graduating from San Clemente High School, she went on to play DI volleyball at Fresno State, and later California Baptist University as an outside hitter. While in college, she was a four-time scholar athlete of both the Mountain West and Pac West Athletic Conferences. Prior to her senior season at CBU, she played overseas in the Global Challenge Tournament in Pula, Croatia, representing both USA and the Pac West Athletic Conference. She finished her collegiate volleyball career with a 29-1 record at CBU, a #1 NCAA DII ranking, two Pac West Conference titles, and a quarter final NCAA tournament appearance in 2017. She’s been coaching at Tstreet ever since my playing career ended and has been lucky to coach a wide variety of age groups and skill levels. As an assistant coach of the 12-1’s in 2019 they finished with a 3rd place SCVA finish and a 2nd place finish in the SCVA Red Rock Rave Qualifier, earning a bid to Nationals.

Fun facts about Coach Taylor: I was born and raised in San Clemente and grew up going to the beach, Tstreet! I am a big baseball fan and come from a baseball family. I have a little brother, Tanner, who plays professional baseball as a pitcher for the Minnesota Twins. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from CBU with a BA in political science and a minor in marketing. I was also the president of Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science National Honor Society and the secretary of SAAC, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. When I’m not working or coaching, I enjoy traveling to a new country every year and spending time outside with family and friends.
