Joaquin Acosta

Joaquin joined Tstreet’s coaching staff for the 2011 club season and had an immediate impact on the quality of play within the club.  He led his 17-1s team to a very prestigious open division berth at Junior Nationals.  For the 2012 season, he will continue coaching the 18-1s and takes on the role of “Tstreet Club Coordinator”.  “Joaco” was a 1st Team All-American outside hitter at BYU where he was big part of an NCAA Championship Team in 2001.  He continued his education at the University of Miami where he earned a law degree and graduated magna cum laude.  In between his studies, he played professional volleyball in Italy and Puerto Rico and represented Puerto Rico on its national beach and indoor teams.
