Adam was introduced to VB as a sophmore at Royal High in Simi Valley; as an OH he was a First-Team All Marmonte League in1989, and was named the CIF-SS Player of the Year in 1990. After a religious mission for his church, he played OH for BYU Men’s Volleyball from 1993-1997, where he lettered twice and was named team captain as a junior and senior, under coaches Carl McGown & Troy Tanner. His senior year, their team spent most of the season ranked #1 in the nation, and Adam was awarded the “Mr Clutch” team award. He’s coached volleyball for 1o years, and has been with T Street since 2016-2017, coaching 14s, 15s and 18s teams; his 18-2 team finished with a bronze medal at JVA in 2018, and all of his teams have made significant improvement in their SCVA ranking every season.
Adam has 5 kids, two of which play at T Street (Lucy-16U and Lola 12-U), works in IT sales, and lives in San Clemente. He surfs regularly, plays beach occasionally, and golfs infrequently. He loves coaching, teaching the game, and competing with the girls he is fortunate to coach at T Street.
