Over Memorial Day Weekend 2017, Tstreet Volleyball Club sent 14 teams to Long Beach to compete in the inaugural JVA West Coast Cup. The rise of the JVA has united the top clubs in the country for a tough showcase of the nations best. Our teams combined for an impressive 80-32 club record, with 11 teams finishing in the top 10! 6 teams took home medals, including 14-Carson earning Gold, 18-Randy, 17-Bryan and 12-Taylor earning Silver and 17-Naseri and 16-Jess earning Bronze.

12-Taylor went 8-1 in the 12-Open Division, finishing with a Silver Medal, their 2nd medal of the year. 12- Alicia went 6-3 and won the Silver Bracket of the Club Division, finishing in 5th place! Congrats girls!
13-Colton finished in 5th place of the 13 Girls division, making it to the Gold Bracket in all 3 travel tournaments. They finished with a record of 5-2. 13-Reanna went 4-4, making it to the finals of the bronze bracket. They finished in 13 place, facing tough 1’s teams all weekend long. Congrats to both teams!
14-Carson again proved that they are one of the nation’s best teams, winning the Gold Medal and finishing with a record of 7-1. Their only loss was on day 2 against TAV, and they avenged that loss in the finals, winning in 3 23-25, 25-23, 15-10. 14-Ramon earned another top-10 finish, coming in 9th place and finishing with a record of 7-3. They finished strong and won the silver bracket!
15-Curtis once again battled against the nation’s top teams, and worked hard for an 11th place finish in 15-Open. They made the silver bracket with a record of 2-5. 15-Bryan again made the Gold Bracket, finishing with a record of 5-2 and a 5th place finish.
16-Mike got off to a hot start with a 5-0 record before facing two tough local opponents. They finished in 5th place and will be working hard in practice to prepare for JOs. 16-Jess earned another medal, placing 3rd in the 16/17 Club division and finishing with a 6-2 record. They had to battle Tstreet 17-Bryan in the semi finals! We can’t wait to watch these two teams in Minneapolis.
17-Naseri once again won a Bronze Medal, and finished on the podium in all 4 travel tournaments. They went 6-1 and will be a top seed at JOs. 17-Bryan stepped up and earned a Silver Medal! They had to battle 16-Jess in the semi finals of the 16/17 Club combo division and finished with a 7-2 record.
18-Troy, coming off their Bronze Medal at 18s JOs, finished their season with a record of 5-3 and a bronze bracket victory. 18-Randy earned a Silver Medal and went 7-1. We couldn’t be more proud of the amazing careers of our 18s. Thank you girls for your hard work! We will always cherish our Tstreet memories!
